Diamond Disposal (formerly St.Marys Lugger Service) was founded in 1998 by Frank and Trish Edye. They built a reputation of fair prices and reliable service to local contractors, factories, and St.Marys area residents. In 2022, their daughter and son-in-law (Sarah and Danny Hemstock) decided to join the family business with the addition of a hooklift truck, capable of providing mini bin services as well as the efficiency to service a larger area. Diamond Disposal now provides 5, 12, and 20-yard mini bin rentals as well as 8, 12, and 20-yard lugger bin rentals servicing St.Marys, Stratford, and surrounding areas. With well over 100 bins, we are capable of hauling everything from scrap steel and construction debris to garage cleanouts and concrete. Diamond Disposal also provides full-service junk removal, where we load your junk for you and haul it away. We recycle, reuse, or donate as much material as possible to keep it out of the landfills.

How does pricing work?

The initial bin rental price is based on your location and where your load can be disposed of. After the load is weighed at the appropriate disposal facility, the cost of disposing the load (tipping fee) will be billed to you.

How long is the rental? What if I want more time?

The bin rental is for 7 days, after 7 days you will be charged $10/day for up to 1 week. If that is not enough time please contact us and we can find a solution!

How do I book a bin?

How much are dumping fees?

Dumping fees vary depending on the material as well as the disposal facility that your material is allowed to go to.

What materials are not allowed in the bin?

Asbestos, medical waste, liquids of any kind, tires, refrigerant based appliances(air conditioners, fridges, freezers, dehumidifiers), paint or oil cans, fluorescent light bulbs, propane tanks, or dead animals.

When do I pay?

Payment for the bin rental is made prior to delivery. After your load has been hauled to a disposal facility you will be invoiced for the tipping fee.

Where will you put the bin? What surfaces can it be put on?

We put the bin where you choose as long as our truck can access it. Preferably on reasonably flat, firm ground.

Why does lugger only serve some service areas you have laid out?

Our lugger truck is a large tandem axle truck for carrying larger heavier loads. The reason it only services St.Marys and immediate countryside is because it is not as efficient to be hauling loads longer distances as it consumes more fuel. However our new mini bin truck is barely larger than a standard pickup truck and has a very efficient modern diesel engine enabling it to efficiently haul for longer distances.

How soon can I have a bin?

We can usually have a bin for you within 24 hours! Often on the same day!
